   Working Instructions :

Basically the unit works on the principle of heat transfer. We have to have any metallic rod ( which is a good conductor of heat ) in this instance the used welding rods can also be used which will have the diameter of atleast 4-6mm.

This rod has to be inserted in between the 2 Carbon Rods ( Silver in Colour as shown in the picture) in such a way that the metal rod will touch both the carbon rods. After making sure that the metal rod is in contact with both the Carbon rods, we have to press the RED Button (which is shown in the picture on the Left Hand Side ) for atleast 2-3 secs until you find the rod to be red hot. Once the rod turns red hot you can use it to unblock the sprue/gate passage or the choked nozzle.


  ADVANTAGES :

1) The unit is absolutely safe to work with and is not atall hazadorous as compared to the conventional method of using stove or burner for removing the runner or cleaning up of the choked nozzles or gate/sprue passages.

2) The unit is very light in weight and also handy in use.It can be connected to machine’s single phase supply power supply or an external powers supply
i.e., 230 VAC.

3) In case of any power mishap, the fuse will blow up and has to be replaced, thus protecting the transformer circuit inside the box.

4) The Runner Remover unit is faster in use as it hardly takes 2-3 secs to heat up the rod, as compared to the conventional method of using burners, which are very time consuming.
